Amos Malcolm Beaver III

El Reno, Oklahoma

It is with great sadness that the family of Amos Malcolm Beaver III announce his sudden passing on May 13, 2025 at the age of 36 in El-Reno, OK. His loved ones wisely chose not to focus on his death, but instead to celebrate the way his life touched others. Amos was “aka” Sonny, Gentle Giant, Mammoth, Big Teddy Bear, Tai-Kwan-Dodo and most importantly Papa Hunny to his grandkids. Sonny’s smile and the joy his presence brought was large, silly and sweet, spreading warmth and drawing laughter from all around him.

Sonny was born on February 9, 1989 to Ida Elaine Hoffman Beaver and Amos Malcolm Beaver Jr. His maternal Great-Grandmother, Vinnie White-Eagle Hoffman honored him with aCheyenne name after Judge Beaver meaning “Stands Tall in the Forrest”

Sonny “aka” Tai-Kwan-Dodo89 was a seasoned gamer and well known by this community and a dedicated member. Through this passion, precious memories and relationships were formed with family and friends. Tai-Kwan-Dodo89 is now deemed a legend with the Oklahoma Retro Gamers Society. Sonny was employed for 3 years at the Hampton Inn where he developed close ties with friends and co-workers.

Sonny will be loving remembered by his Mom, Ida Elaine Hoffman-Beaver, his sisters, Kimberly Path Beaver and Amelia Arlene Beaver-Waters, Nephews, Elijah Judge Beaver, Michael Charles Beaver, Joshua Aaron Beaver, Prince Ray Beaver, Jeffrey Dutchie and Maykayo Garcia and Alex Marks. Nieces, Laura Ann Beaver, Ayonna Dutchie, Amariah Beaver, Mariona Dutchie and Maniya Waters, Grandchildren, Winter Faith Beaver, Journnie Elaine Beaver, Ember Rose Beaver, Elijah Judge Beaver Jr. and Jonah Malcolm Ramnarine and a host of relatives.

Sonny’s Mother Ida is requesting all nephews, cousins and his friend Matt Foster to serve as pall bearers. Elijah Beaver, Michael Beaver, Joshua Beaver, Prince Beaver, Jeffrey Dutchie, Makayo Garcia, Alex Marks, Marvin Dutchie Jr., JoJo Hoffman, Carl Hoffman, Nicholas Hamilton, Desmone Hulbutta, Adrian Redbird, John Paul Hoffman, Randy Hoffman, Christian Hames, Christian Snyder, David Kauahquo, Diesen Gorham, Blake Tippeconnie, Tommy Chapman, Charlie Chapman, Alan Chapman, Matthew Gooday, Hunter Chapman, Kayden Chapman, Spencer Chapman and Matias Waters. Also inviting Maurice Brown, Dupree Brown, Henry Brown, Robbie Brown, Carl Sleeper, Robert John Sleeper and the Oklahoma Retro Gamers Society as honored pall bearers.

There are no words during this difficult time to express the healing you have given to our family with the outpouring of love, kind words, prayers and sympathy. May the good Lord bless each one of you and your families for thinking of us during this time.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Friday, May 30, 2025 at the Hammon ERC building, with David Bearshield and Gerald Panana officiating. A Traditional all-night wake will be Thursday the 29th, starting at 7PM. Burial will follow the funeral service in the Bethel Mennonite Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Lee Hometown Funeral Home.
