Artimia "Tina" G. Flores, age 86, of Cordell, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully in her home on April 25, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Tina was born April 20, 1939, in La Feria, Texas, to Antonio and Jesusa (Aguirre) Garcia.

On January 1, 1956, Tina married the love of her life, Anastacio Flores, in La Feria, Texas. Together they built a beautiful life rooted in love, family, and faith. In 1963, they made their home in southwest Oklahoma, where Tina became a beloved member of the Cordell community.

Tina worked for over 30 years at the Cordell Christian Home, where she lovingly prepared meals for the residents, treating each one like family. She was a longtime member of the Assembly of God Church in Clinton, where her love for Jesus and singing brought joy to many. Known for her warm hospitality, Tina welcomed everyone into her home with a big smile and the heartfelt question, "Are you hungry?"

Tina's life was centered around her faith, her family, and her kitchen. She found great joy in raising not only her own children and grandchildren but anyone else who needed love and guidance. Her favorite Bible verse, Psalms 91, was a reflection of the shelter and protection she offered to everyone she knew.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Anastacio Flores; five brothers; and three sisters.

Tina is lovingly survived by her sons: Rey Flores of Cordell; Jhonny Flores and spouse Joe of Tulsa; Danny Flores and wife Paige of Tulsa; Mike Flores of Mustang; and her step-son Pete Flores and wife Sammi of Lawton; her daughters: Sylvia Spain of Weatherford; Susie Brown and husband J.R. of Mustang; and Cindy Rumsey of Cordell; her brother, Arther Garcia of Texas; 23 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Tina’s life and legacy will be deeply cherished by all who knew her. Her cremation is under the loving care of Lee Hometown Funeral Home of Clinton.
