Cecil Ray McKinney

December 2, 1947 — June 7, 2025

Clinton, Oklahoma

Cecil Ray McKinney, age 77, longtime resident of Clinton, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at his home on June 7, 2025, with his beloved wife Diane at his side. He was born on December 2, 1947, in Frederick, Oklahoma, to Kurtis Ray and  Opal Nelda (Dean) McKinney.

Cecil was raised in Altus, where he graduated as a proud Bulldog from Altus High School in 1965. He went on to attend the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond. On September 3, 1985, he married the love of his life, Diane Paciorek, and together they built a warm and loving home in Clinton.

A skilled Hollow Metal engineer, Cecil retired from Wilco in Clinton more than two decades ago. He was a man of many passions—he had a knack for woodworking, carpentry, and could often be found enjoying the great outdoors. He especially loved fishing, hunting, and traveling, with one of his greatest joys being salmon fishing trips to Michigan with Diane’s Uncle Frank.

Cecil was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his devoted wife Diane of the home; his sons David Heard and wife Alishia of Broken Arrow, along with their children Cory and Colten Heard; David Bouse and wife Crista of Oklahoma City, and their children Ethan and Lauren Bouse; his daughters Stephanie Solis of Clinton, and her children Mikel and Mitchell Salinas; and Susan Bouse of Oklahoma City. He also leaves behind two great-grandchildren, Ava Salinas of Clinton and Jason Salinas of Burns Flat.

In keeping with Cecil’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Lee Hometown Funeral Home in Clinton.

Cecil will be remembered for his quiet strength, his craftsmanship, and his deep love for his family and the outdoors.
