Funeral services for Coda Alan Myers, 22, of Hinton and formerly of Burns Flat, will be held Monday, June 1, 2026, at the Hyman Memorial Chapel of the Lee Hometown Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Ron Roskan, and under the direction of the Lee Hometown Funeral Home.

Coda Alan Myers was born September 1, 2004, in Elk City, Oklahoma, to Joshua Eugene Myers and Gerri Orlean (Chafins) Myers. He passed away Monday, May 26, 2026, in Burns Flat, Oklahoma.

Coda was raised in Burns Flat and attended Burns Flat High School, where he excelled academically. A dedicated student, he graduated with honors a year early in 2021. He was active in debate and received an Excellence Award from Oklahoma State University while attending college courses there.

He worked for local co-ops fumigating wheat products and held various other jobs throughout the community. More than anything, Coda loved being a father, partner, and devoted much of his time to caring for and spending time with his children and partner.

Coda was known for his artistic talent and creative spirit. He enjoyed painting, sculpting clay, and designing tattoos. His imagination, humor, and individuality left a lasting impression on all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his son, Atticus Myers, and his grandfather, Robert Chafin.

Survivors include his parents, Joshua Eugene Myers, Burns Falt, OK and Gerri Orlean Myers of Hinton, his second parents, Jason and Cheryl Ross, Yukon, OK, Oklahoma; his partner and mother of his children, Alexia Cloyd of Burns Flat, Oklahoma; his children, Salem, Saige, and Attaylne; two sisters, Naomi Roark of Yukon, Oklahoma, and Alazoy Myers of Pampa, Texas; and two brothers, Jason Ross of Yukon, Oklahoma, and Addison Myers of Pampa, Texas.

He is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Morris Myers, Burns Flat, Ok and Paulett Guthery, Arapaho, Ok and maternal grandmother Ruth Chafin, Hinton, OK.
