Curtis Lee Allison
Curtis Lee Allison, age 64, a lifelong Clinton resident, was born January 29, 1966, in Clinton, Oklahoma, to Roy Victor Allison and Wanda Sue Davis. He passed away Friday, August 7, 2026, in Sayre, Oklahoma.
Curtis was raised in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School in 1985. During high school, he was active in the band, where he played the trombone.
Throughout his life, Curtis held several jobs in and around the Clinton community. As a young man, he had a newspaper route for the Clinton Daily News. He later worked for Nicholson’s Monuments and the Clinton Cotton Oil Mill prior to its closing. Most recently, Curtis worked as a carpenter and handyman and was always willing to put his skills to use.
Curtis enjoyed spending time outdoors and especially loved hunting and fishing. He also had a great love for music and enjoyed working on and repairing lawn mowers and weed eaters. Whether he was working with his hands or enjoying the outdoors, Curtis found happiness in the simple things he loved.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor Allison and Wanda Davis, and his nephew, Christopher Landers.
Curtis is survived by his stepmother, Melissa Allison, of Clinton; his sons, Clayton Allison, of Clinton, and Jeremiah Allison and Scottie Allison, both of Arkansas; his daughter, Trinda Allison, of Thomas; his brothers, Elvis Allison, Terry Allison and his wife, Mary, James Allison and his wife, Maxine, and Johnny Tuck, all of Clinton, and Nicholas Ramon, of Pampa, Texas; as well as other relatives and friends.
A memorial service honoring Curtis’s life will be scheduled and announced at a later date.
Services are under the direction of Lee Hometown Funeral Home.
