Dale was raised in Geary, Oklahoma, and graduated from Greenfield High School in 1980. His service to his country remained one of his greatest honors throughout his life.

For many years, Dale worked at Clewell’s Hardware in Watonga, where he was known for his steady work ethic, helpful nature, and friendly conversation.

Dale enjoyed a number of hobbies that reflected his creativity and adventurous spirit. He loved woodworking, spending countless hours crafting pieces for family and friends. He also cherished time spent riding his motorcycle and, above all, treasured every moment shared with his family.

He is also lovingly remembered by his seven grandchildren: Samuel Griesel, Daniel Cathey, Gabriel Schumacher, Wyatt Schmidt, Amelia Cathey, Benjamin Schmidt, and Jacob Schmidt.

In accordance with Dale’s wishes, he was cremated. Services were under the direction of Lee Hometown Funeral Home.
