Frankie Kay (Davis) Poe 72, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2025,

surrounded by family.


Born June 27, 1953, in Marlow Oklahoma to Bill James Davis and Betty June

(Garrett) Davis. Frankie graduated from Duncan High School in 1972 she attended

Cameron University for two years and took multiple courses at Red River

Technology Center for training in the medical field where she worked for more

than 30 years.


Frankie married the love of her life Jerry Ray Poe August 31, 1990, in

Comanche Oklahoma.  


Frankie was affectionately known as a shining light in the lives of all who had the

privilege of knowing her. Her journey on this earth was one marked by love,

compassion, and unwavering faith in God. Her passing has left a void in the

hearts of many including her daughter, granddaughters, family members,

friends, and many others whose lives were touched by her. Her legacy will carry

on forever reminding us that you can choose to live a life with meaningful acts of

service, love, kindness, always making profound impacts on those lives that had

the pleasure of knowing her.


Frankie loved cooking, arts and crafts, crocheting, sewing, wreath making,

reading, watching Gun Smoke, and watching Oklahoma State Sports spending time

 outdoors whether it was at the horse barns walking the horses with her daughter,

gardening, fishing, or attending Maryssa & Viktoria activities.


Frankie was preceded in death by her husband Jerry, father Bill Davis, brothers

Gary and Paul as well as her maternal and paternal grandparents.


She is survived by her mother Betty, daughter Lori and husband Shawn, daughter

Alice, granddaughters Maryssa and husband Andrew, Viktoria, Lexi, grandson

Cody, and numerous other family members.


A celebration of Frankie's life will be conducted at 10:00 am, Saturday

October 11, 2025, at Heritage Baptist 14317 N. Council Rd. Oklahoma City, OK

731421.


Services are under the direction of the Lee Hometown Funeral Home.


Let us remember the past with gratitude, live the present with enthusiasm, and

look forward to the future with confidence.
