Jacob Wakefield Allrunner “Maheameoeste”
Jacob Wakefield Allrunner “Maheameoeste,” 32, of Thomas, Oklahoma, was born March 18, 1994, in Clinton, Oklahoma, to Don Allrunner and Sandra Williams. He passed away Monday, August 10, 2026, in Oklahoma City.
Jacob was raised in Thomas and graduated from Thomas High School in 2012. He made Thomas his home throughout his life and worked various jobs in the Thomas and Clinton areas.
Jacob enjoyed gaming on his PlayStation and had a great love for music. He also loved to travel, especially with his mother, Sandra. Before her passing, the two shared many memorable trips together, traveling to places such as Las Vegas, the Redwood Forest, and Graceland. Those adventures and the time spent together created memories Jacob treasured.
Jacob had a special place in his heart for animals and enjoyed caring for dogs and cats. He also had a caring and devoted nature toward his family. When his father became ill, Jacob lovingly stepped into the role of caregiver, providing him with care and companionship.
Jacob was a member of the Native American Church and was proud of his family, heritage, and traditions.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Williams; maternal grandparents, Edna Hadley and Billy Gene Williams Sr.; paternal grandparents, Jessie Allrunner-Youngbear and Herman Youngbear; paternal great-grandfather and namesake, Cheyenne Chief Jacob Allrunner, and his wife, Sage; grandmother, Eunice Hadley; aunt, Della French; and brothers, Steven Howlingwater and Ryan RedBird.
Jacob is survived by his father, Don Allrunner of Thomas; Kiason Allrunner of Albuquerque, New Mexico; aunts, Mary Smith and husband David of Longdale, Oklahoma, Sharon Allrunner of Clinton, and Dolores Howlingwater and husband Charles of Thomas; uncles, Billy Gene Williams Jr. of Oklahoma City, and Joel Hadley and wife Renae Nightengale of McAlester, Oklahoma; as well as other relatives and friends who will cherish his memory.
A traditional wake will be held Sunday, August 16, 2026, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Clinton ERC Building.
Funeral services for Jacob will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 17, 2026, at Freedom Worship Center in Thomas, with Gerald Panana and Mona Bearshield officiating. Burial will follow at the Allrunner Cemetery at the Allrunner home near Thomas.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lee Hometown Funeral Home.
