Juletta Ray Boas

Juletta Ray Boas, age 62, of Clinton, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. She was born on April 3, 1963, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, to Raymond and Evie (Taylor) Cook.
Juletta was raised in Hot Springs and graduated from high school there. She later moved to Clinton, where she worked for many years as a nursing assistant at the Clinton Veterans Center until her health no longer allowed her to continue. She had a servant's heart and a deep love for people, which shone through both in her work and her personal life.
She married the love of her life, James Owen Boas, who preceded her in death in April 2020. Juletta was also preceded in death by her parents.
Juletta was a devoted Sunday School teacher for several years and took great joy in sharing her faith. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren, whom she adored. She also enjoyed playing bingo, reading, watching her favorite shows on TV, and most of all, walking with the Lord.
She is survived by her children: Kristy Ellis, Kasey Boas, Hannah Boas, and Daniel Boas; her beloved grandchildren: Scotty, Jeremiah, Joseph, and Sawyer; her siblings: Ruby Cook, James Cook, and Raymond Cook; her sisters-in-law: Cindy Franks and Sherry Gfeller; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Cremation services are under the care of Lee Hometown Funeral Home of Clinton, Oklahoma.
