Larry Warren Glance, age 72, of Clinton, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, May 30, 2025. He was born March 10, 1953, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Bob and Inamell (Thomason) Glance.

Larry was raised in Oologah, Oklahoma, and graduated from Oologah High School in 1971. He continued his education at Hillsdale College. On May 20, 2020, he married Martha Barber in Arapaho, Oklahoma.

A lifelong musician, Larry had a gift for music and was a talented guitarist, bassist, drummer, and vocalist. Over the years, he has played in many bands, including  Sweet Success, Coupe DeVille, KGB, Dealer’s Choice, Trader Price, Smoking Okies and most recently, Sunset Riders. Music was his greatest passion, but Larry also enjoyed fishing, collecting vintage guitars, and tending to his plants with his well-known green thumb. His home studio was a favorite place where he could create and share his love of music.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Ina Mell Glance; and two sisters, Susie Butler and Sondra Glance.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Martha Glance of the home; his son, Neil Glance and wife Kristy of Clinton; his daughter, Carre Dawson and husband Billy of Weatherford; two brothers, Wendell Glance and wife Mary of Hannibal, Missouri, and Wiley Glance and wife Linda of California; along with numerous friends and fellow musicians who will miss his presence, talent, and spirit.

A private family service will be held at Larry’s home, officiated by Bobby Stewart.

In honor of Larry, a previously scheduled Benefit Jam for his medical expenses will now serve as a celebration of his life (Memorial Service). It will be held on Sunday, June 8, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the American Legion Post 41 in Clinton. All are welcome to attend and share in the music and memories of a man who lived life in harmony.

Services are under the direction of the Lee Hometown Funeral Home.
