Funeral services for Leslie Luvern Dilocker, 98, of Arapaho, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2026, at the Arapaho Methodist Church, officiated by Pastor Dean Brookshier. Burial will follow in the Arapaho Cemetery under the direction of the Lee Hometown Funeral Home.
Leslie Luvern Dilocker was born January 26, 1928, at Granny Merical’s house in Barnitz Creek, Oklahoma, and passed away Monday, May 11, 2026, at his home in Arapaho, surrounded by his loving family.
Leslie was raised in Oakwood, Oklahoma, and graduated from Oakwood High School in 1946. Following graduation, he worked alongside his family in farming and custom harvesting. He later drove a truck and operated a milk route before working for the Clinton Cotton Oil Mill. Leslie then began driving a propane truck for Gene Schneider at Cal Gas and later retired from AmeriGas in 1992 after many years of dedicated service.
On May 29, 1953, he married Juanita Maston in Thomas, Oklahoma. Together they built a loving home in Arapaho where they raised their three daughters and son.
Leslie was a faithful member of the Arapaho Methodist Church. He was known as a true handyman who loved tinkering with wood and iron, always creating and fixing things with his hands. Leslie and Juanita built a cabin in Red River, New Mexico, where they enjoyed entertaining friends and making treasured memories. He especially loved the deer that gathered around the cabin and took great joy in feeding them by hand.
He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Heather Weil; sister, Louise Bell; three sons-in-law, Donnie Guthrie, Tony Helton, and Sammy Hendricks; and brother-in-law, Ted Bell.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita Dilocker, of the home; three daughters, Paralee Guthrie of Arapaho, Oklahoma, Frances Weil of Clinton, Oklahoma, and Janet Hendricks of Clinton, Oklahoma; and one son, Kenneth Dilocker of Arapaho, Oklahoma.
He is also survived by 10 grandchildren: Crystal Cox and husband Bryan, LaKresha Jones and husband Johnny, Reggie Weil, Lundy Helton and wife Leslie, Leslie Helton, Shannon Hendricks and Courtney Island, Shawna Ryan and husband Tommy, April Heath and husband Carey, Amanda Dilocker and Gared Findley, and Caleb Dilocker and wife Trinity; 21 great-grandchildren: Lauren and husband Aric, Jaylon and his girlfriend Makia, Jared, Lynlee, John, Gentry, Caylyn, Kayleigh, Alexis, Keeton, Karther, Jett, Koda, Zane, Savannah, Brannon, Kavyn, Garrison, Braden, Nora, and Hudson.
He is further survived by nieces, Beth Downs and Teresa Stone and husband Greg, as well as cousin, Orin Patton and wife Barbara.
