Mark Dwayne Randol
Mark Dwayne Randol, Custer County rancher, passed away on April 6, 2026, at his rural home. He was born February 24, 1952, in Hinton, Oklahoma, to Elmer E. Randol and Freda Dick Randol.
Mark was a devoted member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and the Oklahoma Angus Association. He was raised in Custer City, Oklahoma, where he graduated from high school in 1970. He began ranching at an early age, a profession that became not only his livelihood but also his lifelong passion.
On February 12, 1983, he married Connie Lois Shephard in Arapaho, Oklahoma. They made their home in Custer County, where they built a life centered around family and ranching. Mark raised Angus cattle and took great pride in his work. In addition to ranching, he enjoyed training bird dogs, quail hunting, and just doing what cowboys do.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his great-granddaughter, Rainy Lee Reighful Randol.
Mark is survived by his loving wife, Connie Randol of the home; two sons, Zach Randol and wife Kimberly of Weatherford, and Josh Randol and wife Robyn of Weatherford; three daughters, Heather Johnson and husband Brian of Clinton, Desiree Meacham and husband Russ of Clinton, and Valerie Markum and husband Seth of Tuttle; one sister, Cathy Baker and husband Terry of Butler, Oklahoma; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Weatherford, Oklahoma, officiated by Reverend Dwight Shephard. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Custer City, Oklahoma under the direction of the Lee Hometown Funeral Home.
Casket Bearers are: Grant Markum, Mason Randol, Ripken Randol, Montana Harrelson, Corbin Teel and Jason Baker.
