Phillip Lawrence Jim

Phillip Lawrence Jim, age 69, longtime Clinton resident, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2026, at his home in Clinton, Oklahoma. He was born March 20, 1957, in Colorado, to Clifford and Jennie (Tweed) Jim.

Phillip was raised in Edmond, Oklahoma, where he attended school and graduated from Edmond High School. He worked many years as a plumber and was known as a hardworking man who enjoyed the simple things in life. In his free time, Phillip loved spending time at the lake fishing and relaxing outdoors. He was also a devoted fan of WWE professional wrestling and enjoyed watching matches on television whenever he could.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Jennie Jim; one brother, Gareth Jim; and one sister, LynnEtta Mills.

Survivors include his son, Travis Jim of Hinton, Oklahoma; his brother, Danial Jim of Edmond, Oklahoma; along with several nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

Services are under the direction of the Lee Hometown Funeral Home.
