Ralph Jones

d. August 4, 2025

Ralph Edward Jones, born on May 7 1959, in Clinton, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. A man who dedicated his life to hard work, Ralph devoted many years to the oil field, where his tireless efforts and strong work ethic were admired by colleagues and friends alike. He was not only a diligent worker but a warm and cheerful soul, known for always smiling and spreading joy wherever he went.

Raised in Clinton and Burns Flat, Ralph graduated from Burns Flat High School in 1978, laying the foundation for a life filled with adventure and laughter. Following his education, he proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force, an experience that would shape much of his character and deep love for his nation. Upon returning home, he embraced life with an infectious enthusiasm, especially enjoying time outdoors. He loved fishing and two-stepping, and he cherished the moments spent barbequing with family and friends. His passion for life was evident in the joyful gatherings he organized, bringing everyone together.

To his family, Ralph was not just a father but a guiding light. He is survived by his beloved brother Kevin Randle, sons Ralph Jones Jr., Julius Thompson, David Jones, Chad Jones, and daughter Stacey Jones. He took immense pride in his grandchildren: Darrias Hendricks, Victoria Hendricks, Thyri Green, Jae-ana Jones, Travis Jones, Jae-Chell Jones, Kimesion Fields, Jayden Jones, Maliki Jones, and Enamore Jones, and each grandchild held a special place in his heart.

Ralph's vibrant personality shone through in his love of practical jokes, ensuring that laughter was a staple in every gathering. He exemplified the spirit of family, nurturing close ties and encouraging those around him to find joy in the simple moments.

Ralph is preceded in death by his loving mother Willie Mae Randle, stepfather Nolan Randle, sister Victoria Lewis, brothers Nolan Randle Jr., Floyd Jones, Nathanial Randle, daughter Kristal Jones, nephew Dashawn Wooden, and grandson David Jones Jr., and his kids mother, Annette Basnett his wife of 16 years. Each of them added to the rich tapestry of his life, leaving cherished memories and a profound sense of loss in their absence.

As we gather to honor his remarkable life, we remember Ralph Edward Jones not only as a dedicated worker and a loving family man but as a beacon of joy. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter and love—a true testament to a life well-lived.
