Ronald "Jack" Kiehn

February 16, 1939 — December 16, 2025

Clinton, Oklahoma

Ronald “Jack” Kiehn, age 86, longtime Clinton resident, was born February 16, 1939, in California, to Fred and Thelma (Goss) Kiehn, and passed away Thursday, December 18, 2025, in Oklahoma City.

Jack was raised in Northern California, Nevada, and Oklahoma. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1953 and made Clinton his lifelong home. On June 16, 1962, Jack married the love of his life, Elberta Hanks, at Broadway Heights Baptist Church in Clinton. Their marriage was one built on devotion, hard work, and shared community involvement.

Jack was well known throughout Clinton as a dedicated businessman. Over the years, he owned and operated Clinton Auto Sales and worked for Armstrong Car Dealership and Little Oldsmobile and Cadillac, where he began as a mechanic and worked his way into sales. Most recently, Jack served as the manager of Radio Shack, located inside S & D Drug, where he combined his love of electronics with friendly customer service.

Jack enjoyed bowling and, along with Elberta, helped run several bowling leagues over the years. He also loved golfing, walking, and especially working with electronics, often repairing them for friends and family. Jack was an active member of First Christian Church of Clinton, where his faith and kindness were evident to all who knew him. He was known for his constant smile, gentle nature, and willingness to help anyone in need.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Thelma Kiehn; his daughter, Tammi Kiehn; his brother, Fred Kiehn Jr.; his sister, Virginia Hadley; and his daughter-in-law, Sharisse Kiehn.

Jack is survived by his beloved wife, Elberta Kiehn, of the home; his son, Bobby Kiehn, of Houston; and three grandchildren, Samantha, Bryan, and Tristan, all of Houston.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 26, 2025, at First Christian Church in Clinton, officiated by Doyle Kinney. Burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery, under the direction of Lee Hometown Funeral Home.
