Stacy spent his early years in Lawton before moving with his family to Clinton during his junior high school years. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1987, where he was a member of the Black Student Union and distinguished himself as an outstanding athlete. A standout for the Clinton Red Tornadoes, Stacy excelled in football and also participated in basketball, baseball, and track. His success on the football field earned him a scholarship to Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, where he played football for two years.
After returning to Clinton, his first job was working for his uncle in the Russworm Funeral home. Stacy began raising a family and entered the workforce. After relocating to Oklahoma City, Stacy held a variety of positions, including limousine driver, employee of AT&T, Nature Valley Bread Company, Amazon delivery driver, and oilfield worker. Following complications during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, he became disabled and struggled with declining health in recent years.
A lifelong sports enthusiast, Stacy remained a devoted supporter of the Clinton Red Tornadoes. During his senior season in 1987, he led the team in tackles and earned All-State football honors. He was also an avid fan of Oklahoma football, the Oklahoma City Thunder, and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Outside of sports, Stacy enjoyed music and was once involved in a rap group. He loved golfing, fishing, spending time outdoors, and creating lasting memories with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Kay Fisher; his brother, Terry Alfonzo Fisher; his uncle, John Fisher; and a special friends, Kevin Lantz and Robert “Gutty” Hester.
