Stephen Alan Stone

Stephen Alan Stone, age 68, of Clinton, Oklahoma, was born December 6, 1958, in Clinton, and passed away at his home on December 15, 2025.

Stephen was raised in the Clinton area and attended local schools, graduating from high school and spending the majority of his life in the community he called home. He was a familiar and friendly face to many around town and was known for his easygoing nature and kind disposition.

For a time, Stephen worked in security at the Lucky Star Casino, where he enjoyed meeting people and visiting with those he encountered. Outside of work, he found enjoyment in playing slot games, whether at the casino or on his cellphone, and he had a genuine love for traveling and seeing new places. Stephen was someone who enjoyed simple pleasures, good conversation, and being around others, and he never met a stranger.

Though Stephen had outlived his known family members, he was never without connection. He is survived by his best friend, Anthony Glaze, along with many friends, acquaintances, and caregivers who knew him as a pleasant, respectful, and approachable man and who will remember him fondly.

A wake service will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, in the Hyman Memorial Chapel at Lee Hometown Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the Clinton Indian Cemetery, with Gerald Panana officiating, under the direction of Lee Hometown Funeral Home.
