Vivian “Kaye” Randle
November 7, 1962 – October 6, 2025
Vivian “Kaye” Randle, age 62, lifelong Clinton resident, was born November 7, 1962, in Clinton, Oklahoma, to Will Turner and Lillie Belle Randle, and passed away late Monday, October 6, 2025, in Oklahoma City.
Kaye was raised in Clinton and graduated from Clinton High School in 1980, where she was a proud Red Tornado and a standout athlete in both track and field and basketball. She was a multiple-time state champion in track and field and remained a loyal supporter of Clinton athletics throughout her life.
In 1990, Kaye married the love of her life, Michael J. Davenport. She was a faithful member of Bethany Baptist Church. Over the years, she worked as a cook at several Clinton establishments, including the Clinton VA Hospital, TC’s Country Kitchen, Branding Iron, and Southwest Elementary School. As a young girl, she helped her mother at the historic Pop Hicks Restaurant.
Kaye enjoyed fishing, playing dominoes and Phase 10, watching westerns, going to the casino, and playing softball. She will be remembered for her fun-loving spirit, contagious laughter, and the joy she brought to everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Will Turner and Lillie Belle Randle; husband, Michael Davenport; brothers, Johnnie Turner, James “Joel” Brown, Henry Randle, Gerald Randle, and Donald Wayne Randle; and sisters, Mary Crenshaw, Theodoris “Poochie” Reed, Pauline Randle, and Janice Randle.
Kaye is survived by her sons, Bradley Randle of San Diego, California, and Tru Roy Randle of the home; daughter, Latoya Kaye Washington of Oklahoma City; sisters, Annie Callins of Mangum, Linda Kaye Flanders Randle of Clinton, Wilma Jackson and husband Leonard of Clinton, and Betty Richardson and husband Kenneth of Clinton; brothers, Ervan Randle Jr. and wife Bonnie of Weatherford, and Richard Earl Randle of Lufkin, Texas; three grandchildren, LaRissianae Washington of Langston, Montiel Crain of Coffeyville, Kansas, and JaMari Bowman of Oklahoma City; special friends, Arzella, Stephanie Collins, and Kristy Barker; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at the HOST Ministries Church in Clinton, officiated by Rev. Robert Moreland, Pastors Leonard and Wilma Jackson, and Bishop Ezra Randle. Burial will follow in the Clinton Cemetery under the direction of the Lee Hometown Funeral Home in Clinton.
