William Carl Ernst (Davis), age 24, of Burns Flat, passed away on June 5, 2025, in Holdenville, Oklahoma. He was born on July 28, 2000, in Clinton, Oklahoma, to James Davis and Susan Ernst.

William was raised in Cordell and Burns Flat, attending elementary school in Cordell before continuing his education through junior high and high school in Burns Flat. He had a passion for life and lived it on his own terms. Among his greatest joys was fishing — a peaceful escape that brought him happiness. He also loved to cook and had a strong interest in MMA fighting. Above all, William cherished being surrounded by “his people” — the close-knit group of friends and family he held dear.

He is survived by his father, James Davis of Elk City; his aunt, Eula Smith of Burns Flat; and a host of cousins and friends whom he considered family.

A viewing will be held on Monday, June 16th, in the Hyman Memorial Chapel at Lee Hometown Funeral Home. A memorial service celebrating his life will take place on Tuesday, June 17th, at 3:00 PM at the Dill City Senior Citizens Building, officiated by Bobby Stewart.

Services are under the direction of the Lee Hometown Funeral Home.
